Santa Clarita Amateur Radio Club Special Meeting Date, October 22, 2025!
Please join the Santa Clarita Amateur Radio Club on Wednesday, October 22nd, for our October club meeting at the Stevenson Ranch Library. This is one week later than usual as the library was not available on our normal third Wednesday. The library is located at 25950 The Old Road, Stevenson Ranch. The meeting will begin at 6:30 PM and we need to be out of the door by 7:50 PM (library rules!). Please, no food or drinks in the library.
Our guest speaker for the October meeting, via Zoom, will be Joanne Michael, KM6BWB, providing a presentation titled “High Altitude Balloon Launches”. It should be quite an interesting meeting.

Scout Jamboree On The Air
The Scout Jamboree On The Air “JOTA”, will be held on October 19, 2025, between 2:00 PM and 6:00 PM. It will be located in the Bouquet Canyon Church (27000 Bouquet Canyon Rd, Santa Clarita, CA 91350) parking lot… the same place we held this year’s Field Day. Amateur Radio License Exams
Our next test session is scheduled for MAY 17.
Walk-ins will not be accepted.
Sessions are held on the 3rd Saturday of every odd month (January, March, May, July, September, and November), at the Valencia United Methodist Church, 25718 McBean Pkwy., Santa Clarita, CA 91355.
If you wish to take a test, you need to contact Ron Klein, K6VPV, after the 1st of the month preceding the test session, and at least five days before the test session. Click on the Testing tab for contact information. We need to know this so we can have the necessary forms and testing materials ready for you, and so we can inform you on what to bring with you on testing day.
